Wenn jemand die Treibersignierung abschalten möchte kann beim booten F8 drücken und dann die Treibersignierung abschalten, oder dauerhaft in VistaX64 mit diesem Tutorial:
If anybody would like to try disabling the driver signing in Vista x64, try this: In Vista x64 find the cmd.exe (-Windows-System32-cmd.exe), right click on it and select "Run as Administrator" In the box that opens type: bcdedit -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS Press enter and reboot. If needed, the entry can be easily removed with the command: bcdedit -deletevalue loadoptions
Dann noch was wichtiges: Nervige Dienste ausschalten!
Doppelklick auf "Computer", in der Leiste oben auf "Systemsteuerung öffnen". Im nun erscheinenden Fenster klickt ihr auf "Verwaltung", dort auf "Dienste". Nach der UAC Meldung erhaltet ihr eine Auflistung aller verfügbaren Dienste, viele sind standardmäßig aktiviert. Dienste deaktiviert man durch einen Rechtsklick auf den jeweiligen Dienst, dann auf Eigenschaften und dann im erscheinenden Fenster die Eigenschaft auf "Deaktiviert" oder "Manuell" setzen. Deaktivieren kann man (muss man testen) :
- Automatische Konfiguration (verkabelt) - Automatische Konfiguration (WLAN) - DHCP-Client (wenn man in keiner DHCP Umgebung ist) - Druckwarteschlange (wenn man keinen Drucker hat) - Fax (es sei denn, der PC ist eine ISDN-Station) - RAS-Verbindungsverwaltung - ReadyBoost (es sei denn, man nutzt USB-Sticks als Speicher einzusetzen) - Smartcard (es sei denn, man hat eine) - Tablet-PC Eingabedienst (es sei denn, man nutzt einen TabletPC) - Telefonie (macht nur Sinn, wenn telefoniert wird) - Windows Defender (ist eh nicht gut - Spybot ist besser!) - Windows Fehlerberichterstattung (muss nicht sein) - Windows Suche (Indexdienst - nervt nur und frisst Ressourcen) - Windows Zeitgeber (wer synchronisiert seine Uhr im Heimnetzwerk?)
Automatische Defragmentierung ist der zweite Übeltäter: Klickt hierzu im Startmenü auf "Zubehör", weiter unten auf "Systemprogramme" und dann auf Defragmentierung. Hier macht ihr den Haken bei "Nach Zeitplan ausführen" weg.
Jetzt sollten die Festplatten ruhig sein und die allgemeine Systemperformance deutlich gestiegen sein. Solltet ihr immernoch Probleme haben, könnt ihr den Dienst "Superfetch" abstellen, dies ist aber nicht zu empfehlen, da sonst die Anwendungen sehr langsam starten.
Wie schalte ich die UAC (nervige Administrator Infos) aus? Klickt ihr auf "Ausführen" und tippt "msconfig" ein. "Benutzerkontensteuerung deaktivieren" anklicken und unten rechts auf "Starten" klicken. Danach wird ein Neustart fällig und die UAC ist weg.
Schnellere SATA Performance: Klickt auf euer Laufwerk, dann auf Eigenschaften bis ihr auf Policys kommt und die Klicker: Enable write caching + enable wrte performance setzt !
All 32-bit Operating Systems can only physically address 4 gigabytes of RAM, due to the math involved (232 = 4,294,967,296). Depending on your hardware, Vista may only see 3GB or 3.5GB of the total RAM installed, because there are some devices that are memory mapped. The most common culpret of this type of device is a video card, which can use up to 512MB of memory for mapping.
You can tweak Vista's core to add another 4-bits of addressing capability, but you must have a 64-bit capable processor (pretty much any processor made within the past two years like Intel's Core 2 Duo or AMD's Athlon 64). Even though the math works out to address way more than 4GB (236 = 68,719,476,736), the operating system still has a cap (Windows Server can address anywhere from 8GB to 128GB depending on the flavor).
To force this new addressing method, you have to tell Vista to boot using this new parameter. Vista no longer uses a BOOT.INI file as previous versions of Windows did, so you must modify the boot file using a built-in Vista tool called BCDedit: 1)Open a command prompt (Press Window key + R to open the Run dialog, and then type cmd). 2) Press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to execute (this allows you to run cmd in administrative mode if you haven't already setup up a permanent admin mode). 3) Type BCDedit /set PAE forceenable.
This PAE flag (Physical Address Extension) tells the Vista core to use an additional 4 bits of addressing, which in theory allows the OS to see all of the RAM you have available. We're not out of the woods yet, because once you reboot you may find that Vista still doesn't see all of your RAM. You can turn PAE off again by typing BCDedit /set PAE forcedisable or BCDedit /set PAE default.

wenn ihr Vista und einen Firewallrouter (von 1und1 oder T-Online, ect.) vor eurem PC habt, könnt ihr auf jeden Fall diese Dienste ausschalten:
* Base Filtering Engine * IKE and AuthIPsec Keying Modules * Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) * IPsec Policy Agent * Routing and Remote Access * Windows Firewall
